Les Brestoises ont un pied et demi en quarts de la C1

Les handballeuses de Brest se sont ouverts la voie vers un premier quart de finale de la Ligue des champions, en allant s’imposer dimanche en fin d’après-midi au Danemark, dans la salle d’Esbjerg 33 à 27, en 8es de finale aller.

Pour disputer leur premier quart de la compétition reine du handball européen, les coéquipières de Coralie Lassource pourront se permettre de s’incliner la semaine prochaine par six buts (ou cinq si Esbjerg en inscrit plus de 33) dans leur salle. En cas de qualification, elles seront opposées aux Messines, leurs grandes rivales à l’échelon national, ou aux Allemandes du Borussia Dortmund, dont la double confrontation en 8es de finale se déroulera vendredi (17h00) et dimanche prochain (16h00) à Nancy, en raison des restrictions de voyage imposées par la pandémie de Covid-19.
