Sur la terre battue de la capitale hongroise, il a battu en trois manches 4-6 / 6-3 / 6-1, le Serbe Filip Krajinovic au terme d’un match et d’une finale très serrée. A 23 ans, il glane le 2e trophée ATP de sa carrière et succède à son compatriote, Marco Cecchinato au palmarès.
