La France 3e après le saut

La France, tenante du titre, occupait la troisième place du combiné par équipes (relais) des Championnats du monde de ski nordique, au terme du concours de saut (petit tremplin) derrière l’Allemagne et le Japon, dimanche matin à Falun (Suède). Emmenés par Jason Lamy-Chapuis, médaillé de bronze en individuel vendredi, les Bleus (avec aussi François Braud, Sébastien Lacroix et Maxime Laheurte) s’élanceront lors du relais de 4×5 kilomètres avec un retard de 14 secondes sur les Allemands et de 4 secondes sur les Japonais. L’Autriche et la Norvège suivent 14 secondes derrière la France.

Les Allemands font forte impression et partent avec le statut de favoris, vu l’état de forme affiché par Johannes Rydzek, nouveau champion individuel, et Eric Frenzel, l’autoritaire leader de la Coupe du monde.

La France avait décroché le titre mondial en 2013 à Val di Fiemme en Italie, avec le même quatuor de skieurs.
