Top 14 : Un espoir de Brive rejoint Montpellier (off.)

Le MHR vient d’officialiser l’arrivée du pilier Simon-Pierre Chauvac en provenance de Brive.

Après Léo Coly ou encore Louis Carbonel, c’est un nouvel espoir du rugby français qui débarque à Montpellier. Le pilier Simon-Pierre Chauvac quitte Brive pour le champion de France en titre. Le joueur de 24 ans a signé un contrat jusqu’en 2024. « C’est un joueur que l’on suivait avec Olivier Azam, surtout pour pallier le départ de Misha Nariashvili. Simon-Pierre est un jeune joueur français au fort potentiel, perfectible mais très travailleur. Il va apporter une concurrence saine sur le poste de pilier gauche avec Enzo Forletta et Grégory Fichten. Son arrivée s’inscrit dans notre projet : garder nos meilleurs joueurs et aller en chercher de nouveaux pour faire progresser le groupe », a déclaré Philippe Saint-André sur le site du MHR.
