Manaudou perd son record du monde de 50m…

Ce vendredi à Las Vegas, Florent Manaudou a perdu son record du monde de 50m en petit bassin. Il a en effet été détrôné par l’Américain Caeleb Dressel, qui a remporté à la fois la course et le record, lors de la derniere étape de la Ligue internationale de natation.

Le record de Florent Manaudou aura malgré tout tenu 5 ans. Mais ce vendredi, à Las Vegas, Dressel a nagé les 50m en 20 secondes 24/100e, soit deux centièmes plus vite que le précédent record établi par Manaudou aux Mondiaux 2014 (20.26).

Néanmoins, le bilan pour le Français n’a pas été mauvais, puisqu’il a terminé deuxième en 20.69, devant l’Australien Kyle Chalmers (20.74). Un résultat qui nous promet un beau duel aux prochains Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo.
