Xavi Simons dévalue, le PSG grogne

L’hiver dernier, Xavi Simons quittait définitivement le Paris Saint-Germain pour le RB Leipzig contre une somme annoncée autour de 50 millions d’euros, incluant des bonus et un pourcentage à la revente au bénéfice du club parisien. 

Après une première saison en prêt satisfaisante, le jeune Néerlandais espérait peut-être s’imposer au PSG sous Luis Enrique, mais il a finalement été définitivement transféré. Aujourd’hui, sa cote est en chute libre, une mauvaise nouvelle pour Leipzig comme pour le PSG, comme le rapporte le quotidien allemand BILD.

Le RB Leipzig brade Simons, le PSG perd sur la plus-value

Face au manque d’offres à cause d’un prix trop élevé, Leipzig a décidé de revoir ses exigences à la baisse, demandant désormais entre 60 et 70 millions d’euros. Selon certaines sources, le club allemand pourrait même céder Simons pour environ 50 millions, soit le prix initial payé, ce qui priverait le PSG de tout bénéfice lié à la clause sur la plus-value. Malgré un intérêt possible du Bayern Munich, renforcé par la blessure de Jamal Musiala, Simons ne figure pas en tête des priorités. La revente se profile donc comme un échec financier et sportif, posant la question d’une éventuelle surestimation du joueur à son départ.
