Alors que l’annonce du départ de Gennaro Gattuso fait l’effet d’une bombe sur la planète du ballon, un candidat a soudainement émergé avec Joey Barton. Sur X, l’ancien de l’OM a lancé un « Je suis prêt » suite à la diffusion des premières rumeurs. L’ancien milieu de terrain, aujourd’hui âgé de 41 ans, a déjà connu deux expériences à Fleetwood Town (D3, 2018-2021) et à Bristol Rovers (D3, 2021-2023).
