Visiblement, Medhi Benatia aurait tenté de ramener Serge Aurier à l’OM ces derniers mois.

Sans club depuis maintenant 1 an, Serge Aurier devrait reprendre du service cet été. À 1 an de la Coupe du Monde 2026, l’international ivoirien devrait au moins se fixer un dernier challenge, lui qui garde une certaine cote sur le marché comme l’a montré l’actualité l’hiver dernier. Dans Kampo Media, Serge Aurier a confié que l’OM avait tenté de le signer ces derniers mois.

Interpellé sur Marseille, le latéral de 32 ans a de suite dit son impossibilité de signer dans la cité phocéenne. « Jouer à l’OM ? Jamais de la vie. Benatia m’a appelé mais j’ai décliné car ça ne m’intéressait pas », a d’abord confié l’ancien latéral du PSG. « J’étais sans club, je préfèrais ne pas manger que signer à l’OM. Je suis quelqu’un de loyal. J’aurais pu me dire, le football c’est mon gagne pain… mais non, jamais. Je suis un Parisien, j’ai fait toutes mes classes dans la région, ce n’était pas possible pour moi », a lancé Serge Aurier.
